An accomplished coach and Australian and New Zealand Paralympian. Competed in four Paralympics winning two silvers and two bronze medals. At the World Championships and Games for the Disabled, he won a bronze for Discus and a Gold for Discus at the IPC World Championships. An athletics coach for the Victorian Institute of Sport & the Australian Olympian team. Currently, an Athletics NZ High Performance Throws Coach (Para) and the newest coach to join the PAHC.

My Name is Eric Sila I have been at the club over 10+ Years. As a Volunteer and a Coach, I am also an official to participate at the NZ Athletic Champions as a graded official. I am a Community Coach and Accredited Athletic Coach, Approved Special Olympics Coach, Fitness Lifestylers Coach, Rugby Junior Coach, Football Coach.Run, Jump, Throw Coach, Primary Sports Coach, Leadership and Mentor Sports Coach (Pulman), Multi-Sport Coach for South Auckland Home-school.
